刘彦梅,博士,研究员,博士生导师。本科与硕士毕业于北京大学医学部临床医学专业,在新加坡国立大学获得生物学博士学位,曾于德国马克斯普朗克研究所/德累斯顿工业大学医学院做博士后,北京大学分子医学研究所任副研究员,2018年9月以青年拔尖人才引进方式加盟华南师范大学。研究兴趣包括在斑马鱼中开发和应用碱基编辑技术构建神经系统疾病的精准模型,并进行病理机制研究及药物筛选;胰岛细胞发育与再生机制研究。其一系列研究成果以第一作者或(共)通讯作者发表于Blood、Advanced Science, Nature Communications、Developmental Cell、Elife、J Genet Genomics等期刊。担任广东省精准医学应用学会疾病模型分会常委,特色模型专业组召集人,广东省生物物理学会理事,广东省生理学会理事,广东省细胞生物学学会干细胞与发育生物学专业委员会委员。多次为Advanced Science,Elife, Diabetologia 等学术期刊审稿。
