理学博士，华南师范大学生命科学学院副研究员，硕士生导师。IUCN物种存活委员会（SSC）穿山甲专家组（PSG）成员，广东省动物学会理事，国家自然科学基金项目通讯评审专家，《野生动物学报》青年编委。2009年本科毕业于河北大学后，同年到华南师范大学攻读硕士、博士，从事博士后研究并留校至今，长期从事濒危动物穿山甲救护、圈养繁育、生理适应、种群分布及动态、生境选择、受胁因素及濒危机制等方面的研究。近年来主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目、国家林草局全国二调项目、广东省野生动植物保护管理项目、广州市科技计划项目及横向项目多项。在Global Ecology and Conservation、ACS Omega、Scientific Reports、Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution、Oryx、PeerJ、野生动物学报和生物多样性等国内外学术期刊上以第一作者或通讯作者发表学术论文20余篇，参编国际穿山甲专著1部。
