华南师范大学生命科学学院研究员，博士生导师。2006年毕业于厦门大学，获得理学博士学位，同年8月进入华南师范大学工作至今，历任讲师、副研究员和研究员。主要从事藻类学研究。曾先后赴Hong Kong Metropolitan University、University of Copenhagen进行学术访问。主持国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金、广东省科技计划项目等十余项，作为课题负责人或项目骨干参加“国家重点研发计划”、“科技基础资源调查专项”、“广东省促进经济高质量发展专项”、“NSFC-山东省联合基金重点项目”等科研项目。作为课题成员参加了“国家自然科学基金十五重大项目”—“中国孢子植物志”海藻志中硅藻志羽纹纲第一至第四册的编写工作。博士论文入选2009年福建省优秀博士学位论文。曾入选“广东省高校千百十工程培养对象”（2014）。发表学术论文100余篇，获得国家发明专利授权2项。
